Experience. Leadership. A deep commitment to Johnston County. Since 2018, I’ve been honored to serve as Johnston County Commissioner for District 7 (Clayton), working every day to help our county grow responsibly while protecting the quality of life we all value. I’ve had the privilege of serving as Chairman of the Board from 2021–2025 and currently serve as Vice Chairman, collaborating with fellow commissioners to tackle growth, infrastructure, and community needs. Beyond the board room, I’ve represented Johnston County at the regional level through leadership roles with CAMPO and the Central Pines Regional Council, and I proudly serve on the Executive Boards of both CPRC and CAMPO, as well as a Trustee for Johnston Community College. My professional career spans more than three decades in engineering and infrastructure—helping design, build, and manage the roads, utilities, and systems that support safe, sustainable communities. That real-world experience matters when making decisions about growth, planning, and taxpayer dollars. Education has always been a foundation for me, with degrees in Civil Engineering from Clemson University and NC State University—knowledge I’ve put to work for Johnston County every step of the way. Most importantly, I’m a Johnston County resident—proud Poppi B to 8 grandsons, father to 5 children, all raising their families right here. Johnston County isn’t just where I serve—it’s home. I’m also grateful to serve my community through my faith as a partner at Overflow Church. I’m committed to continuing to Lead with Vision, and Deliver Results for the people who call Johnston County home. |
